Project Description

Metro 112 is a 300 unit apartment building in downtown Bellevue. This project features three levels of below grade parking, two residential towers, retail and commercial space totaling over 500,000 SF.The first tower is a type 5 building over a common concrete structure. The second tower is 13 stories of type 3 load-bearing metal stud framing, which is the largest structure of its kind on the west coast.Due to the High Rise component smoke control was required for the entire structure. However, through careful planning, and city interaction, we were able to arrange multiple phased occupancies on this project. First Garage only, followed by the entire wood framed building, amenities and half of the high-rise, then floor by floor from 7-13. This allowed the client the ability to rent out 50% of the apartments up to 10 months sooner than initially expected.

This project was completed in 2010.
